Graffiti
Another, rather artful, graffiti on a shopfront.
July 19th. When I took this photo, I knew the grafitti looked somehow familiar. Thank you James, from Newtown PA, for reminding me that it was the cover for the 1979 Joy Division album, Unknown Pleasures. Now it’s a shop front in Barcelona.
I was surprised at how respectful grafitti artists are of the stone work. It seems like all the grafitti is on the iron doors!

Tasteful and inventive – the most surprising graffit I think I've seen.

You've made an very artsistc image form a little grafitti. I do find some grafitti is so well done that it seems a shame it's not thought of as art. Then a agin some is just plain vandalism.

Like it! Would call it “urban art”; more classy! 🙂

Interesting subject… Are graffiti an art form? I am not a tagger myself, but I believe it is an form of art in itself.

I'm not really certain where graffiti leaves off and art begins. This is a nicely composed image of an interesting creative effort.

This is graffiti? It looks more like intentional artwork.
