Barcelona, a photo a day

I’ve seen rickshaws in several countries, used to take them often when I was living in India. But I certainly didn’t expect them in Barcelona!
Needless to say, it is purely a tourist thing, as I still have to find a single Barcelones using this mode of transport.
Anyway, funky!!! And they are recruiting people, stamina needed! More info here.

  2. I have seen a lone rickshaw hero even in Paris, last month. Do you think the can get you to Tibidabo or at leasr to Montjuic? Flip-flops aren't the best footwear to pedal the whole day for a fee… Keep us informed if this is a stunt or a serious business.

  3. A good way to see Barcelona? Have not visited the city but is it a good form of transport there?

Well, Btrattcat, I'm fortunate enough to be able to walk to work, 3 minutes. But we do have here buses, metro, tramway, trains, bicycles…
About the rickshaws, not sure how much they charge, but it can't be much more than a couple of euros. I only ever seen them in the city center, the touristic zones, where it's flat.

  5. I was thinking the same thing Sunny was. A couple of husky men and those girls better hope they don't have to go up any hills.

  6. I wonder how much the charge or how far they'll take you? I wouldn't be a very good passenger sitting in front.
