Paella!
I started this blog almost 4 months ago, I have been living in Spain for just over a year, and I can’t believe I’ve never posted this picture!!! Shame on me.
Well, what could be more Spanish than a paella?
And when I say A paella, I am actually totally wrong. There must be as many paella recipes as cooks in Spain! What originally started in Valencia is now popular all over the country. We even have our own recipes in the south of France!
In 1992, in Valencia, they made it into the Guinness Book of Records, with one gigantic paella for 100.000 people. I have the recipe somewhere, and it’s quite amazing… 5 tons of rice, 3000 chicken, 150 kg of salt… Things like this.
And the good thing about cooking it is: it’s easy! Try it!

Yummmmmy!
Because of our Spanish colonial past, paella is very popular here too. But I've never seen any this soup-y. Still… dry or soupy, yummm!
Okay, I think I better eat dinner now or I might overeat if I put it off…

Hello there! wowwwww this picture is really yummy! In fact I'm a kind of vegetarian, because I don't eat red meat, but sometimes I eat fish, I like it a lot!But in this paella I could try only the shrimp! 🙂

I love this dish! We used to have a restaurant here that had a weekly paella night, but they closed. I might have to try making it myself!

That looks so good! It makes my mouth water like crazy. I'm not certain I can find good paella here in New England. I guess I'll have to give it a try in my own kitchen. I'm off to get tons of rice and 1000 chickens.
