Cloudy days
We’ve had a few rainy days lately. Rainy day: dry day with one or two 15 minutes long… events, where you think the end of the world has come, when it is raining so hard you can’t see anything anymore, with hail and thunder, when the day becomes night. You know what I mean.
But the good thing about it, apart of the WOW, NATURE ROCKS!!, is the beautiful light it brings.
So, here is a few over the roofs of my area, Clot, taken from my terrace, 5 minutes before one of the storms started.

Hi Ikars, welcome to Barcelona! The city's collector system seems to cope quite well, haven't heard of any major problems in the year I spent here so far. No mini, or maxi floods I'm aware of.

We had some rain storms up here in Riga in July. After these heavy rainstorms, city has always struggled with minifloods – one woman almost sunk in a semi-basement floor shoes shop. What happens in Barcelona after these rains? Is the city's collector system being capable to cope with it? Or you had some mini-floods too?

After the rain everything looks so clean :-))) We need some more rain on Montpellier. We have nothad any rain for months, apart from a very brief storm last week.

Wow. There is so much to see from your terrace. You could focus on one little section a day and I would be happy. Be careful during those 'events' and enjoy the moments of extraordinary light.
