One of my favorite places in Barcelona is the MMB, Museu Maritim de Barcelona. Actually, mainly for the museum shop, a fantastic place for a photographer. I just love what can be done with a maritime theme. And I could buy the whole shop! OK, I confess, I was a fanatic model boat builder as a kid, and I feel suddenly much younger in this shop!
I like everything about boats and this museum is just hreat!

Very beautiful photo…Love the color and light. These models don't look easy to assemble. I'll stick to Legos.

I love model boats, too– they're so intricate! The one on the top right looks a lot like the photo I posted today!

I too was a model builder as a child… cars, planes and ships. This time of year there was always one under the tree. Thanks Santa!

I was always into cars both full size and models. I always have had respect for those who build the model boats though. Some of them have so much intricate detail and so many pieces it takes years to build some of them. This looks like a great shop. Open your wallet Rob.

Those are quite fancy boats! Do you have a bath boat at home? We gave each of our daughters a bath boat. http://www.bathboats.com

I don't remember building model boats, but I did build model airplanes! Nevertheless, I would have a great time in this shop, too. Looks like some very artful craftsmen have been at work!
