I am by nature an early riser. A lay-in for me means getting up as late as 8 or 8.30. Shocking, I know.
And it is often a joy, as I have the possibility to glimpse those few precious minutes every morning when the sky literally bursts into life, and changes so dramatically in such a short time.
This shot was taken yesterday morning. 5 Minutes earlier, it was night. 10 minutes later, the sky was just grey-white and blueish. In other words, boring. But these few minutes made it worth getting up early!
Anyway, this is for Skywatch Friday. If you want to see more of it, please click here.
