Barcelona, a photo a day

The painted house

I have to confess I don’t know anything about this building on Carrer Floridablanca, except that it seems to be an alternative place of some kind. But it really is one of a kind!

A bit later… I just learned that this building is a squat. Molts gracies, Fabien!

  1. A complicated design with an edgy vibe. A tatooed many-armed monster?

  2. Scary. Feels like the young and wild was painting, soul seeking freedom :-))

  3. Really neat…I don't know what the picture has to do with Liberty (or Freedom) not being free, but I hope they don't have to fight that monster on the wall to get it. Thanks for sharing…

  5. It's kind of scary looking. Are the red things hanging out the one window supposed it be its tongue? 🙂

  8. An amazing painting for a building. Do you feel the arms reach out to get you as you stand in front of it? The arms: all the people and things who strangle our freedom? Or all the alternatives of freedom?

  12. Does it say “Freedom is not free”?
But is everyone free to make whatever painting he wants on his house?
