Airy Barcelona!!!
A too rare glimpse of Barcelona, around 4.45 PM last Saturday, just before landing at Prat airport. The strange reflections in the water come from the sun playing on the glass walls of the W hotel, aka the sail, la vela. Click on the picture to see it bigger, it is worth it!

My friend lives on one of those hillsides overlooking the city, so it is great to see how it all fits together.

Love your banner of this blog. It looks so alive and vibrant with people and colours. Nice photo during the evening of Barcelona. Great view of the city from the top.

so gray the city looks — absent the color of the street view.

Terrific capture! I, too, love the contrast of the empty sea and the packed cityscape! You don't often get the chance to view the comparison. Hope your year is off to a great start! Enjoy!
