Barcelona, a photo a day

Watery Wednesday 123

When the Barcelona World Race was here at the end of last year, there was this artificial pool where small and big kids could play with model replicas of the boats. These kids seem to have fun!

This is for Watery Wednesday in it’s 123rd edition. Please click here as usual to see other blogger’s photos.

And don’t forget your weekly appointment with Thursday’s Food for Thoughts!

  1. WATER, AH, WATER

    Water as river or puddle or frost;
    Water that’s roaming alone and seems lost;
    Water that looks like sharp daggers of ice;
    Water that’s frozen as small as white rice;
    All of this water, no matter where found
    Will one day seep back far, far underground
    And surface again for fountain and flush—
    Water, ah, water, you make things so lush!

  3. A great hobby for young people to enjoy. I was never good at controlling little boats on water and would get so frustrated and want to jump in after it. 🙂 If you have time, check out my post here http://www.adventureswithjessica.blogspot.com . I’m trying really hard to increase my number of followers and could use your help! Thanks!

  4. Those colors are so vivid! It looks more like a graphic than a photo. I have Food for Thoughts in the queue for tomorrow.

  12. This looks like it would be tricky to operate a boat with a sail this large. There is no crew on the boat to hike out on the other side to keep the boat from tipping over.
