Barcelona, a photo a day

5th Avenue

Today is May 5th, the fifth day of the 5th month. So… Let’s talk about 5th Avenue… Famous place, innit? Or so you think…Well, this is the one in Sitges, 30 clicks south of Barcelona!

Different, isn’t it? Here is one more view of the place…

Which 5th Avenue is your personal favorite, and why? I like both, for different reasons…

  2. Wow– do you have to walk sideways down it? This is not how I picture 5th Avenue… but I like it!

  3. I like the entrance to 5th avenue better – the narrow alley makes me clostropobic!

Congratulations on your upcoming 2nd year CDP blog anniversary, Rob the Frog! (3 days younger than I)

  7. I like both, too, but I prefer this one…older, quieter, you have to listen more carefully to hear its stories.

  8. I'll take an arch any day!
Not sure I'd enjoy the narrowness of the passageway though.
I like how in Europe they always honor the old original stones by not plastering over all of them, but leave a few as a witness.

  9. Avenue?? Not a word I associate with such a tiny alley that looks like it's just wide enough for one person. 😀

I like the first photo because of the lovely door beside it.
