Barcelona, a photo a day

Balls.

And then there is this, at the end of Via Laietana, the hotel covered with hundreds of balls. Don’t know what they are, maybe lights, but I rarely go to this part of town at night. We will one day.

  1. Lovely building, but I'm not sure about the 'eyes' either. Perhaps they are transformed, if we're correct and they do light up at night.

  2. This is a fascinating building. I wonder why they decided to mount the balls on the building.

  4. We walked this building during our visit in March. I think it is only a block or so from the Music Palace.

  8. Oh, you must go to this spot one evening so you can take a photo… surely those are lights of some sort. This is a beautiful hotel and exquisite architecture!

The architecture is awesome! Addition of the balls is an interesting concept, but not sure if I like it. Since we're talking about, I guess it was a good thing.

  12. What a beautiful old building, I', guessing you might be right about the balls being lights, would look pretty good at night too I'm betting.
