Barcelona, a photo a day

The painter

Remaining on this week’s maritime theme (wasn’t planned, just came out like this), here is the Horizon, out of Valetta, Malta. Needs a wee bit of painting, it seems. I wonder if the people underneath the painter are aware of his presence? One more of these ‘ invisible’ workers who make our life what it is.

  1. I really love this photo…there's so much there and so much to think about. And it's beautiful. And you're right about all those people who do what is necessary (usually in the background) to make our lives liveable!

  3. You are right about the workers who do maintenance, which always seems to be occurring on ships.

Thank you for your concern about yesterday's Costa Rica earthquake. I am in Scottsdale, but I changed my post to give a report about the earthquake.

  4. Oi! I worry, how does he stay up there?
I'd not like to be sitting there below, either.
    Great catch!
