Is that a head he's carrying??? And which Catholic saint is he supposed to be? Honestly, we have some of the bloodiest, blood-thirsty saints…
Your stone soup sounds suspiciously like fabada, though I've never seen one with squid or octopus before. And for your information, squid legs (or arms) are tastier than their bodies (or heads, whatever). 🙂
