If I was a bird I would be looking to book in here for sure Rob! The tree almost looks like a paper bark, a form of gum tree, is that possible in Barcelona!

It's really the Hilton of all birdhouses, beautiful!
The tree looks a bit like our Eastern Strawberry tree (Latin: Arbutus, Hebrew ktalav). Pictures of it and links to other posts with it athttp://jerusalemhillsdailyphoto.blogspot.co.il/2008/10/return-of-rain.html
The bark peels off once a year, revealing a mint green wood under it. The branches tend to have a swirl.
