Waiting

Saturday morning. Who are you waiting for, Sir? Are you waiting for the rain to come, as we all do?

A reminder, for those who forgot:
rain/reɪn/

noun

  •  the condensed moisture of the atmosphere falling visibly in separate drops.

Sunday Bridges numero seize (nr 16)

This is a pedestrian passage in the Port Vell, the old port, crossing the Marina to reach the Maremagnum shoppig mall area. Part of this passage is a turning bridge, to allow all the leisure yachts to leave or enter the port.

This is for Louis La Vache’s Sunday Bridges. Click right HERE to see more.

I still have very little energy (even turning around in bed makes me tired), so I can’t browse your sensational blogs at the moment, and I really miss it! Will be back asap, on a really slow burner.

Waiting at the Mandarin Oriental

The entrance to the hotel Mandarin Oriental, one of the many luxury hotels on Passeig de Gracia. The lady seemed to be waiting for… something, someone? Boring job, on a grey sunday afternoon.
Price per room per night, from 365 euros, or 516 US dollars, up to 1740 euros for a suite, or 2078 $. Which is quite OK, as the rate for a suite at the Arts Hotel can go up to 10.000 euros, or 14140.27 US dollars. Per night.

I started anothe little blog, posting not necessarily my best, but definitely my favorite photos from around the world. You’ll find them on top of the sidebar.
