Barcelona, a photo a day

Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía

A bit more of Valencia, a picture that combines both my love for music and my love for science fiction. Just behind what I showed yesterday is this building, the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía (Queen Sofia’s Arts Palace). An opera and concert hall looking like some stranded space ship.

Will go tosee Puccini’s Madame Butterfly in January. It will be a GREAT evening!

  1. This is also stunning. It is good to see that modern buildings can be built with style and elegance.

  10. that´s really unique, very beautiful!
hey, about your comment on my blog, yes, october 28 was the ” dia do funcionário público”, that they passed to friday (30/10). Also in Brazil we have jokes about them, and a lot of them are true, but being myself a public servant I must say there are a lot of people that work really hard, and in Brazil we´re not so well paid (I think only those who have political posts are well paid). Anyway, this holiday was only for the public services.
