Other day, other cat
May we introduce Rio, the newest member of our family. He’ll be with us for the next 15 to 20 years. He is extremely affectionate, follows us wherever we go, and is a tiny PURRRRRRR machine!
Rio was born on july 8th, so he is almost 4 months old. And he has some very very sharp little teeth!
He is a fine example of a classic catalan street cat.
And…. Following the enlightened example of the great Master Luna, Rio’s already got his very own blog!

I am glad you are providing a loving home to animals in need of one.
Julie found a kitten about to die in the road on the Indian Reservation next to Scottsdale, and rescued the cat. Later, someone slipped a kitten and bowl of milk under the opening in the garage door, so she kept that cat as well.
Both cats lived for more than 20 years. Julie is allergic to cats. One cat insisted on sleeping on her arm, and Julie would wake up with welts on her arm, as it is impossible to say no to a cat.
The other cat developed diabetes and needed insulin injections twice a day, which became my job, even though I have a phobia about needles and can't even look at a human getting a shot.
Even now, years later, the house seems empty when we return.
